Adventures With Toddlers

Explore the ins and outs of woods, lakes, creeks and beaches and enjoy
picknicking with new friends. During our guided nature outings we "hike"
toddler style and discover such delights as roly-polies, spittlebugs and the great
blue heron

Children 18 mos-5 years bring a picnic and one parent
Monday or Tuesday Mornings 10:00 am - 12 noon, Contra Costa, CA
Thursday Mornings 10:00 am - 12 noon, Marin County, CA

Four Adventures Each Month
Each Adventure At A Different Location Feb thru Oct
Directions will be provided after registration
$90-$115 per parent-child pair

Monday and Tuesday nature guide Lonnie Greenfield trained at Audubon Canyon Ranch where she
volunteered as a nature guide for youngsters from all over the Bay Area. She has
led nature walks for toddlers with Marin Discoveries. As Special Programs
Director at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, she facilitated Birthday Parties and also created
Tots Discovery Tours for the Museum.

Thursday nature guide Donna Simonsen, has led hikes with Adventures for Women over
the past six years. She is also, a yoga teacher and retreat leader who, when not
working, enjoys herself as a "nature grandmother".
